There’s something magical about Martin’s Beach. Perhaps it has to do with the wizard’s hat shaped sea-stack just off the shore of the beach. Or perhaps it’s because it’s one of the most beautiful beaches on the California Coast. For those that don’t know the drama of Martin’s Beach: a rich guy bought the land, closed access to the beach and started having people arrested. Finally a few months ago a judge ordered it open to the public ... even still the landlords aren't too happy and called the cops on us. Luckily the sheriff didn't show up until after sunset and we were already leaving. This sunset was magical before the light-show began. The sky was on fire before the sun even set and when it did, the sky blew up with beautiful colors, virgia, and light-rays. It didn't last long, though, as it was gone almost in the blink of an eye!
